Four Supercharged Engines Walk Into a Ford Econoline
What happens when you want to hot-rod a Ford Econoline? Most of the time, people slap you back to reality. Because, who really wants to build a hot-rod Econoline? No one that’s who. Or maybe that’s not exactly true. Ford Econolines aren’t really all that special. They’re just utilitarian things that are meant to be disposed of after you use it up. They aren’t meant to be given any amount of real horsepower, let alone 4,000 horsepower.
Yes, you read that right, this Econoline has 4,000 horsepower. It is an absolute maniac on wheels. It started life as a 1962 Ford Econoline and has since turned into something completely beyond that. The Econoline is powered by four, yes four, Ford 4.6-liter V8s attached to four custom superchargers. The front end is from a C7 Corvette, and a custom steering setup by CON2R. Pretty much every single piece on this truck has been touched.
What’s lacking in detail, is how this Econoline drivers? We imagine that it could possibly make you brown your pants a little, if not a lot. It’s also affectionately called, the Equadoline. Get it?
