Ford’s Garage Serves Hot Food, Cold Beers, and Loads of Nostalgia

Ford's Garage

Ford’s Garage: the only place where you can devour a 10-pound burger while sitting underneath a Model A.

There’s nothing more American than juicy burgers, craft beer, and Ford Motor Company. So it makes perfect sense that somebody would combine those three wonderful things into a place we liken to heaven itself. That place is called Ford’s Garage, and their newest location just opened in Dearborn, Michigan.

Ford's Garage

We’d say it’s about time! The Dearborn-based Ford’s Garage is actually their sixth location, and the first outside of Florida. But just like the rest of them, it’s designed to transport you back in time with a 1920’s feel. The decor is something like a mashup of prohibition bar and full service gas station, with plenty of Ford memorabilia scattered around.

Aside from celebrating the greatest automaker on the planet, Ford’s Garage also focuses on two things: burgers and beer. In true Michigan fashion, the restaurant offers over 150 beers to choose from. Because you’ll need something to wash down their signature burger, a 10-pound beast appropriately dubbed “Henry Ford’s Hub Cap.”

Ford's Garage

As you would imagine, Ford’s Garage has already become quite a hangout for car guys, too. Everyone from the local Model A club, to a 100-year-old former Ford employee have already stopped by. Even the Wounded Warriors Family Support Ford Mustang made an appearance.

If there’s a better place to hang out and take in some cool rides, we haven’t seen it. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’ve got a road trip to plan, and some arteries to clog!
