Badass Broncos, Mustangs & Hot Rods Heat Up Cars & Coffee South Bay
Ford vehicles steal the spotlight at SoCal meet-ups most recent event.
Wake up. Drink coffee. Look at cars. You can’t have a better Sunday morning unless you wake up a lottery winner. Trust us, it’s worth getting up just as the sun rises to check out the cars and trucks out at Cars and Coffee South Bay.
You’d think that being near Carroll Shelby’s original stomping grounds and the home of Carroll Shelby International, as well as being not far from the hallowed grounds of Ascot Park Speedway, the South Bay and Los Angeles should have had a regular Cars and Coffee by now. Sure, one or two would pop up, but nothing permanent. Well, that’s why Martin and Rob of Milestar Tires decided it was time to change that. Utilizing the Tireco building, where Milestar is headquartered, and their parking lot, the guys set up Cars and Coffee South Bay right in the heart of the L.A.-Basin in Torrance, California.
Just like other Cars and Coffee events, the ones at Milestar’s parking lot is open to all. That means you’ll see everything from classic hot rods, high-tech exotics, and lifted trucks. Even if you’re not a fan of anything not of the Blue Oval, you’ll enjoy what shows up. No one is unwelcome, provided you act as a good neighbor and don’t rev your engines, peel out of the parking lot, or speed around the city streets.
Follow those rules and this event will be around for a long, long time. The events at the Tireco building happen every third Sunday of the month, so you’ll have plenty of chances to rise with the sun and enjoy cars with that morning coffee. You’ll be glad you did.
