Ford Trucks at SEMA 2017: Throwback Video

By -

Take a guided tour through the massive Las Vegas Convention Center, where the hottest Ford trucks showed up to wow SEMA attendees.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show is anxiously awaited by enthusiasts and industry folks alike. The Las Vegas Convention Center temporarily morphs into what’s considered the mecca of modified automobiles in the entire world for a handful of days every year, and 2017 wasn’t the exception.

While SEMA was originally designed for aftermarket accessory manufacturers only, modern times see the attendance of original equipment manufacturers otherwise known as OEMs, or automakers. Ford is one of the OEMs who throw the house out the window when it comes time for SEMA, as this awesome video by AmericanTrucks Ford shows us.

The footage begins with a quick introduction to the show, as well as to some of the custom Blue Oval trucks at the Ford booth. The host kicks-off the in-depth tour with the stunning F-22-inspired F-150 Raptor. You may recall this bad boy, which sold for a whopping $300,000 at the 2017 EAA Airventure earlier this summer!

Then there’s the badass Project Scorpio Raptor, which was commissioned by Microsoft to celebrate the launch of their new gaming system the Xbox One X. From there the builds get crazier and wilder, as he shows off some of SEMA’s hottest racing Ford trucks. They may not be street-legal, but they’re totally awesome!
