Ford Trucks, Perfect for Outrunning Masked Serial Killers
On this Friday the 13th, we’re thinking that on a thriller-night, a Ford truck might just save you from the beast about to strike.
We learned a few things growing up on horror films. Don’t go into the woods. If you try to outrun the killer on foot, someone is going to trip. If you decide to get busy, you’re going to die. Oh, and when you fight the masked killer to the death, don’t be surprised when he shows up again, probably in next’s years sequel. But there is one lesson that always rings true: A solid Ford truck is your best chance of escaping Jason Voorhees.
We’ve seen this repeated in many of the Friday the 13th movies, a badass Ford pickup can keep you alive! These horror flicks feature some sweet, classic pickup trucks that manage to save our scared teens onscreen over and over again. Unless they hop out of the truck to run into the woods, trip while on foot, or decide to get busy.
This 1977 Ford F-series was featured in the original Friday the 13th, a very cool square body in, what color is that, blood red?
This 1965 Ford F-100 was featured in one of the many sequels, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI. It may be dented, but they are still alive, and have the police coming to the rescue.
The Friday the 13th 30th anniversary remake featured a nice throwback to the original with a 1977 Ford F-350.
So remember to stay safe tonight. Also you might want to avoid any trucks with these window stickers.
Happy Friday the 13th!
