Debut event for truck enthusiasts hits the beach & boardwalk, June 22-23.
The First Annual New Jersey Truck Invasion is landing on the beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, on June 22 and 23. With Ford trucks parked right on the sand, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy the shore, show off your ride, and check out some badass trucks from all over. This is a cool new event where you can take that ride across the river to the Jersey side for those Jersey grilles.
The event will feature a wide variety of trucks; lowered, lifted, new, old, custom built, and crazy. The vehicles will be displayed on both the boardwalk and on the beach. The beach area will also accommodate a wide and varied vendor area, as well as a beach-driving obstacle course. There are a number of additional activities planned, including a “Show & Shine” competition offering a trophy to the top truck.
Some trucks ready to show at the inaugural event include Brandon Shughart’s lifted and lit-up Ford F-250 (pictured right).
We also came across this very cool red, white, and cool custom Ford F-150 (below) belonging to Throttleout4488 that will be there, and will be ready for anything.
Another F-250 ready to show off in the sand is this bad-in-black custom build from Joel Seabo. No one will kick sand in this biggun’s face.
As if you needed another reason, Diesel Barbie (aka Virginia Kutsop) will be there with her clean Cummins-powered beast.
For more information about attending or showing off your truck, go to the New Jersey Truck Invasion website. So, if you were born to run, steer your ride to Wildwood on June 22 and 23. (Sorry, we just couldn’t end without a Springsteen reference.)
