Ford Trucks Dominate List of Most Stolen Vehicles in Canada, Eh!

Ford F-Series trucks are pretty popular in the United States, but they’re also top-sellers in Canada. But F-Series also makes an appearance on another list of popular vehicles in Canada; the most stolen vehicles list. Ford F-Series trucks took all but one of the top 10 most stolen vehicles in Canada.

Every year, the Insurance Bureau of Canada looks at insurance claims from all the carries to determine which vehicles are stolen the most often. For 2015, Ford is quite popular on the list;

  1. 2005 Ford F-350
  2. 2006 Ford F-350
  3. 2007 Ford F-350
  4. 2006 Cadillac Escalade
  5. 2003 Ford F-350
  6. 2006 Ford F-250
  7. 2001 Ford F-350
  8. 2004 Ford F-250
  9. 2007 Ford F-250
  10. 2001 Ford F-250

The only vehicle not a Ford pickup truck is the 2006 Cadillac Escalade. I suppose, in Canada, a big pickup truck is much more useful than a SUV. Also, those trucks might not have been stolen for the purpose of driving the vehicle, but to be chopped down and resold as parts to fix other trucks.

The only thing really surprising was the F-150 didn’t make an appearance on the list.

What do you think, eh? Let us know over in the forums, eh.
