Drop What You’re Doing and Buy These Ford Truck Post Stamps

I’m not a U.S Mail post stamp collector at all, but you know what I’m a collector of? Cool things. And that includes everything with a Ford car or truck on it.

You’re looking at the newest collection of post stamps released by the United States Post Office, and they feature none other than a gorgeous 1965 Ford F-100 pickup, and a lovely green 1948 Ford F-1 farm pickup truck. Both trucks sport the iconic chromed front grille and bumpers, as well as period-correct white sidewall tires.

Now, I’d love to say that the kind folks at the Postal service are primary Ford fans and only released Ford truck stamps, but they’re not, they also released stamps featuring a yellow 1953 Chevrolet truck, as well as a very cool 1938 International Harvester D-2.

A complete book of 20 stamps of this “Pickup Trucks Forever’ collection will set you back about $9.60 bucks, which breaks down to .47 cents per stamp. Not bad considering the cool artwork and flamboyant character of these iconic trucks.
