Which Ford Truck Makes the Best Pumpkin Artillery?

We just shared with you a farm in Northwest Ohio that has a massive F-150 corn maze. In addition, they have a pumpkin cannon that can shoot a gourd 2,500 feet. They’re using a Ford F-450 as the basis for their artillery weapon against the children of the corn. But here’s what we want to know, what would make the BEST Ford truck for making a gourd cannon out of?

The Leaders family used their F-450 for the cannon, presumably, because it is the truck they had available. But for a cannon of that size, and the associated components, it might need a truck that size to carry it all.

In pumpkin warfare, you might want to be a bit more agile, doing a more surgical strike. In that case, you’d want something smaller and more maneuverable, like the Ford F-150. The F-150, when properly equipped, can hold 3,300 lbs in the bed. That’s a lot of weight that it can handle, allowing you to have a pretty big cannon.

We all know Toyota is under pressure due to their trucks being used by terrorists, but trucks do seem like the best solution for building a mobile pumpkin artillery regiment. Which truck would you use to build up your army of gourd launchers?
