Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums and Marketplace: A Beginner’s Guide
Using the FTE Marketplace
Navigating and using the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Marketplace is a snap. First, simply click on “Marketplace” in the very top navigation bar to access it. From there, you’ll find a series of quick-link buttons to popular categories at the top, including quick access to parts, vehicles or services. If you want to look at everything currently listed in the Marketplace, scroll down and you’ll find it all sorted from new to old. Each listing contains a description, item location and price.
Clicking on each item will take you to a more detailed page containing multiple pictures (if provided), a more detailed description, and a place to ask the seller questions. From here, you can also contact the owner, negotiate, and make purchases. If you find something you’re interested in and simply want to keep up with, there’s also a subscribe button that’ll notify you of future updates to that particular listing.
Creating a Marketplace Listing
If you’ve got something to sell or if you’re looking for a specific item/truck that isn’t listed in the Marketplace, start by clicking the “Create a Listing” button directly below the banner on the main page. This will bring up a screen giving you the option to post a sales, wanted, or part-out ad. The last option is handy if you’ve got a bunch of parts to sell at once.
Once you select one of these three options, you’ll be able to add photos, a description, price and location. Just remember, like any sort of ad, providing detailed information and lots of great photos will only increase your chances of success!
At first glance, the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forums and Marketplace can seem a bit overwhelming, in the best way possible. But as you can see, getting around and finding what you’re looking for is actually rather easy. And as always, we’re here to help if you have questions!
