Designer Mike Stefanini goes back to the future with his Ford truck artwork.

French artist and designer Mike Stefanini knows how to pick a strong subject for his work. In one series, Stefanini takes an iconic brand like Ford trucks and merges them with an vintage travelogue style. Looking at his “hit the road” vibe, we were reminded of our series Ford F-100 Across Canada. But he is no one trick pony. Stephanini uses a number of unique and modern styles that feature Ford trucks. Using humor and taking cues from retro styles, this is an artist with an interesting perspective.

Stephanini masterfully takes the classic trucks we love so much and makes them a necessary and organic subject of his work. Instead of using an easel or a sketchpad, this artist creates his masterpieces on the computer.

Wanderlust never looked so good. A theme he continues with this tricked-out Ford Econoline van/camper inspired by Back to the Future.

When he’s not adding some motor city swagger to his work, he designs everything from logos to marketing materials for a number of companies. But it is clear that his love of all things automotive is a strong and recurring theme.

He designs and re-imagines rides for films such as Mad Max. This post-apocalyptic monster truck imbues some hardcore trucking elements with a little fun and fantasy.

The artist’s love for Ford is a common theme throughout his work. This California dreamy design was posted with Stefanini posting, “I want a Ford Falcon van!”

There is no end to Stefanini’s pop culture repertoire. He cleverly uses nostalgia from 1970s muscle cars, to 1980s films, and contemporary television such as Game of Thrones.
