Ford Super Duty Super Donuts: Tire Smokin’ Tuesday

By -

Diesel smoke and tire smoke combine as this Ford Super Duty flexes its muscles.

This week’s Tire Smokin’ Tuesday video comes to us from the DizeFilms YouTube channel and it features a 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty putting on one hell of a smoke show. Even with the beefier rubber, the Power Stroke diesel engine has no issue spinning the tires as the driver spins the truck around and around.

Modified F-250

The 2015 Ford F-250 in the video above is powered by a 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel that in stock form, delivered 440 horsepower and 860 lb-ft of torque. That is plenty of power to smoke the tires, but this Super Duty packs even more power via an upgraded exhaust system and a performance computer tune. Without more information, it is hard to say for sure how much power this F-250 has, but the odds are good that it features upwards of 1,000 lb-ft of torque.

This F-250 also has bigger-than-stock tires and in some cases, adding bigger tires will diminish a truck’s ability to do burnouts, but all of that diesel torque makes this one wicked tire slayer.

Cooking Up Donuts

The video begins with the 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty sitting stationary as the driver gets the rear wheels spinning. Smoke quickly gathers around the rear end as the truck scoots forward. As it nears the other side of the narrow pavement, the driver whips the rear end around and the donuts begin rolling out. The Power Stroke engine keeps the rear wheels smoldering as the driver throws the truck around a couple of times and when the truck comes out of one of those tight circles with the nose pointed up the road – the F-250 ends the video will a quick, rolling burnout.
