Ford Super Duty Reveal Officially Set For Texas State Fair

Ah, Texas. The bastion of truck goodness. If you want beef, Tex-Mex, or pickup trucks, Texas is the place to go. The state also hosts one of the largest auto shows of the year during the State Fair of Texas. It’s not uncommon for truck manufacturers to announce new products there in the heart of the largest truck market. We have speculated for awhile that the new 2017 Super Duty would debut. Now, Ford has confirmed it in a delightfully not-subtle way.

Check out the spy photography over at, where they have several photos of a prototype Super Duty wrapped in camoflauge. But unlike most automotive camoflague, this one has printed on it in big letters “ALL-NEW FORD SUPER DUTY U.S. REVEAL SEPTEMBER STATE FAIR OF TEXAS.”

Well, it doesn’t get any more obvious than that that we’ll see the reveal of the 2017 Ford Super Duty at the State Fair of Texas. For the record, State Fair Media Day is September 24th, but there may be a special event the night before. We’ll have to wait and see.
