A Loud and Smoky Ford Super Duty Burnout!

Super Duty Burnout

Doing a burnout is like eating bacon. We hardly ever care about the long-term consequences, we just care for the joyful and glorious present. Am I alone here?

This Super Duty burnout video courtesy of Hayden Johnson features a 2000 Ford F-250 powered by a 7.3 liter PowerStroke diesel engine. In stock form, the 7.3 liter Ford diesel will easily roast its rear tires, so imagine what it could do if modified. Like most of us, the owner felt the need for a little more speed, so he added a handful of modifications for even more horsepower and torque. ‘Murica!

The output of the monstrous PowerStroke motor has been increased by swapping out the factory turbo, for a Garrett dual ceramic bearing turbocharger. A cold-air intake and a five-inch custom exhaust system also add to the final horsepower tally. Lastly, all modifications are brought together by a good ECU tune.

We don’t know exactly how much power this Ford F-250 generates, but it is more than enough to put a serious smokin’ to the beefy BFGoodrich KO2 tires in the back.

Crank up your speakers and enjoy! And don’t worry, the camera adjusts to the right angle after the first few seconds.
