Ford Recalling F-650s and F-750s for Seat Belt Anchors

By -

Buckle up, Ford is issuing another recall. Actually, if you have a 2011-2013 or 2015 model year F-650 or F-750 and you live in the United States or Canada, hold on. According to the Blue Oval, “In these vehicles, the front passenger and center seat belts might not be anchored in the correct position relative to the seat, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.”

The 26,358 trucks (25,941 in the U.S. and its territories and 417 in Canada) under this recall were built in the Escobedo Assembly Plant between Feb. 14, 2011 and April 28, 2015.

There don’t seem to be any reports of accidents or injuries associated with this issue, but, given the different cab and seat configurations available on the above models, Ford is still developing repair procedures for them.
