Ford Ranger Trophy Truck Tells the Raptor to Move Over!

By -

What did your high school ride look like? It probably wasn’t as cool as this Ranger trophy truck!

It’s easy to get caught up in the coolness of the Ford Raptor, the might of the Super Duty, and the luxury of the F-150 King Ranch. But sometimes we must look at the smallest of trucks, and the incredible builds their owners perform.

Take for example this new episode of “One Take” on The Smoking Tire YouTube channel. The host, Matt Farah, has previously shown us various Ford machinery worth drooling over, but none quite as down to earth as this little Ranger. We mean, it’s a kid’s high school ride, so how crazy can it be, right?

Well, you’re in for at treat, because this completely modified Ranger is built to get over rough terrain — and do so in a hurry. The super-long travel suspension can conquer just about any obstacle with its 18 inches of travel, and the roll cage is certified for sanctioned off-road racing. Even though the drivetrain remains stock, the entire package as been built around a future V8 engine swap.

Witness the awesomeness for yourself, and check the video above!
