Ford Girl Isn’t Afraid to Give Her F-150 a Workout
Most folks don’t even take their Ford trucks off paved roads. But this truck-loving adventurer does it every chance she gets!
Most truck owners don’t even come close to exploring their vehicle’s limits. Heck, most only really use the bed to for weekend runs to the local big box hardware store. Four-wheel drive only comes on in the winter, and the hitch ball serves merely as a reminder that you have shins. But there are a few out there who use their Ford trucks as intended, or at least travel off paved roads now and then.
Take Nikki Marie, for example. The self-proclaimed “Ford girl for life” clearly isn’t afraid to get her F-150 dirty or deep in the snow. In fact, she refers to it as therapeutic, which we can certainly relate to. There’s just something about being in the woods and conquering obstacles that’s quite refreshing after the weekly grind. We’re no psychologists, of course, but we’re sure there’s some kind of science behind it.
Regardless, Marie does a nice job of poetically relating her mud-slinging escapades with life in general. And it appears that her F-150, equipped with off-road rubber and fender flares, doesn’t have a problem getting her where she needs to go. And it sounds pretty darn good with a fresh Flowmaster exhaust grunting out those 5.4-liter induced tunes.
It’s almost enough to make us want to write some inspirational stuff and pair it with shots of our own Ford trucks. But then again, we were never very good at stuff like that. We’ll just stick with what we know. Which, of course, is scoping out badass trucks and the cool folks that own them. And you can do the same by giving Marie a follow over on Instagram!
