Ford F1 Showdown: Are You a Blue or Red Kinda Guy?
Which of these two stunning Ford vintage trucks would you choose?
Picking your favorite Ford truck is kind of like trying to choose a favorite dessert. All of them look good, but you can’t have ’em all. Unless you’re filthy rich, of course, or want diabetes. So, when we came across these two gorgeous 1951 Ford F1 pickups from Vanguard Auto Sales, it made us wonder: if you had your pick, which one would you choose?
On one side we’ve got a classic red F1 sporting a timeless look. With a tan interior and vintage Keystone wheels, this truck will look as good twenty years from now as it does today. Plus, it’s got all the goodies you’d want in an old truck, including a modern suspension, front disc brakes, a comfy interior, and a tried-and-true 351W/C6 combo.
Then again, it’d be tough to turn down this stunning light blue ’51, too. The work on this one was good enough to land it in a magazine feature, and it’s easy to see why. Aside from the glassy looking paint, this truck has just the right amount of chrome, and the vintage hubcaps and white-wall rolling stock really sets things off. Much like our red contender, this one also has a modern suspension but uses a 302 motor for motivation.
Both are great examples of mildly custom F1 trucks, and either would be the pride and joy of pretty much anyone with a pulse. So we want to know, which one would you prefer?
