Ford Expedition or Tiny Home: Which Is the More Sensible Purchase?

The Transit is an obvious choice for a number of reasons. Perhaps Ford’s most configurable vehicle, it’s easy to turn one of these modern vans into just about anything you’d like. Heck, we’ve already seen at least one person convert a Transit into a tiny home. For the paltry sum of $6,000, in fact (on top of the van’s $37,000 sticker price). The result was incredibly impressive and it’s easily something that most folks could live out of quite comfortably.

If you need a little more space than the regular Transit provides, we’ve got you covered there, too. Several aftermarket companies, including Winnebago, are converting these vans into full-on motor homes. They come with everything you’d expect in a big-money RV, yet without the massive price tag. And they’re probably a heck of a lot easier to navigate in tourist trap traffic, too.
