Ford to Display New Ford GT at Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion
The new Ford GT is one of the most compelling projects in recent years. Completed in a secret bunker under Ford’s headquarters, powered by an engine lifted from the company’s racecar, and a shape that defies anyone not to just say, “wow.” It is the perfect modern interpretation of the iconic GT40 that once took victory at the historic 24 hours of Le Mans.
With that, the prototype show car has been traveling around the country, and indeed the world, for quite some time. Although it has garnered press from here and abroad, not everyone has had the chance to see the stunning car in person.
And speaking from experience, this car is definitely meant to be seen in the flesh. Thankfully, Ford is once again bringing the show car to the masses.
Next month at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Ford will bring the show car as a static display for everyone to see.
If you haven’t seen it, and you’re in the area already for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, this would be the perfect time for you to check it out.
Between the flying buttresses and the twin jet-inspired exhaust outlets, this is one supercar that we are hugely looking forward to when it finally comes out. You can check out the new Ford GT between August 13th through the 16th.
