This afternoon, Ford CEO Mark Fields went on CNN to refute some claims by the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. While he was on air, he said that thanks to “two exciting new products” at the Michigan Assembly plant, not a single job will be lost. Two exciting new products you say?

Sounds like the new Ford Bronco and new Ford Ranger to me!

We’ve long speculated that once Focus and C-Max production leaves the plant in Michigan that Ford would replace those cars with the new Bronco and Ranger. Ford has long said that not a single job would be lost at that facility, so something has to go there.

Ford has even publicly said that 4 new SUV products were coming soon, meaning at least one of them needs to be the Bronco.

We worked together a potential timeline for the Bronco and Ranger and if that timeline — a guesstimate — is true, we should be seeing some news here in the next few months.

What do you think? Is the Bronco and Ranger coming? Let us know in the comments below or over in our forums!
