‘Not O.J.’ Bronco Hits the Auction Block
Pristine 1993 Ford truck retains everything that made this ride famous, well, before O.J. and his get-away pal made it infamous.
Would you let “one small ding” — or inevitable O.J. Simpson jokes — prevent you from nabbing this awesome 1993 Ford Bronco XLT? Us neither! In fact, we’d even be willing to put up with the O.J. jokes to own a ride like this winner. (But don’t worry about that. The truck currently sports a vanity plate that reads: “Not O.J.”)
We spotted this incredible Ford find on the Internets, where as of this writing, the highest bid is only $7,500.
This particular ’93 Bronco has 71,000 miles on it and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Nice!
Even better, the seller claims that the Bronco was “driven sparingly” until 2005, when another Ford fan bought the four-wheel-drive truck. In all, it reportedly had four owners, who each apparently babied the tough truck to keep it in the enviable shape it is in currently. It is now being offered up at no reserve with service records, an accident-free Carfax, and a clean Oregon title.
Key selling points include the addition of a two-inch receiver hitch, additional auxiliary lights and a stainless exhaust tip.
The aforementioned “small ding” is on the front bumper, along with a few barely-noticeable scuffs here and there. But, there are a few awesome attributes that counterbalance the minor mars. For instance, the Nineties truck still has its factory swing-out spare tire carrier, which is not only practical, but it looks pretty badass, too. The best part of this 1993 Ford Bronco, however, is its removable hardtop.
