Fallon in Love with the F-150: The First Night of “Fingers on a 4X4”

By -

Jimmy Fallon has worked for several years and on shows such as “Saturday Night Live” and “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to get to where he is now: making that sweet, sweet Tonight Show money.  Even though he intends to purchase a 2015 Ford F-150 King Ranch, he’s not going to just give his hard-earned cash away to a sales professional.

The person who wins his business is going to have to work, too.

Ten Ford salespeople from across the United States are competing in “Fingers on a 4X4.”  Whoever keeps their hand on the lux truck the longest gets to sell it to Fallon.  No leaning, no kneeling and no sleeping on the rig.  Contestants get a five-minute break every hour and a 15-minute break every six.

In the first day of the competition, two rivals were bounced out.  One of them just got a little too into his music.  (He’s bound to be glad that dealerships usually aren’t open when “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” is broadcast.)
