Truckin’ Fast Wednesday: Ice-crushing Raptor Isn’t Ready for Spring Yet!

By -

Check out this great display of the Raptor’s anti-lag system at work during some icy fun.

This week’s Truckin Fast Wednesday video comes to us from the xrocket21 YouTube channel and it features a new Ford F-150 Raptor playing on a big, frozen lake. The video also provides a great example of the truck’s unique anti-lag system at work, keeping the boost levels up in Baja Mode when the driver lifts.

Playing on the Ice

The video above begins with a front-facing look at a frozen lake from the windshield area of a new Ford F-150 Raptor. The truck turns off of the road towards the lake and a second later, the camera view jumps to a unique wide angle look at the side of the high performance pickup. With the camera mounted on the end of a piece of wood that is extended out away from the tail of the Raptor, we get a great look at the boosted F-150 as the driver slides around the massive sheet of ice.

F-150 Raptor Drifting on Ice

After some time with the camera hanging off of the back end, another short clip provides a look from the windshield as the Raptor slides around the snow-covered ice. There is even a quick clip of the camera on the ice, with the truck drifting by and at the end of the video, the camera is mounted on the body, facing the rear end as the truck pulls onto the paved road and accelerates hard.
