F-550 6×6 Rolls Up to Famed Los Angeles Auto Shop

By -

F-550 is 26 feet long, built by the Diesel Brothers, and looks like it came straight out of a video game.

Los Angeles is a wonderful city when it comes to its car culture. No matter where you turn, there’s bound to be something that’ll catch your eye, like a Ford GT parked in Beverly Hills, a Raptor cruising through Sun Valley, or a classy LTD lowrider passing by our home in El Segundo.

Thus, it should be no surprise to see a hardcore F-550 like the one that pulled into the famed RDB LA auto shop in West Hollywood, all (and we do mean all) of which was captured by the shop’s YouTube channel.

“Our good buddy, [shop manager Moses], just purchased this crazy 26-foot truck; I don’t know what to call it,” says RDB LA owner Vik Tchalikian. “It looks insane. It was built out of Utah, custom-built. He’s gonna be the official marshmallow six-wheeler.”

The F-550 was built by the famed Diesel Brothers of Woods Cross, Utah, and it is a monster 6×6 riding on a custom air suspension that can be controlled from an app. The grill is protected by a massive steel bumper and brush guard with built-in winch, the driver and passenger are protected from the sun with a big windshield visor, and if the size of the beast didn’t turn heads, the lighting on and under the truck sure will. As Tchalikian says, the F-550 “has a presence like nothing else,” especially in-person.

“We’re gonna be doing a lot of interior work on this car, truck, monster truck, whatever you want to call it,” says Tchalikian as he and Moses ride through the streets of West Hollywood. “It’s gonna get our signature Starlight Roof. It does not have a backup camera, so we’re gonna put a backup camera. We’re gonna do a lot more than the interior. But for now, we’re gonna wrap it.”

We’re definitely eager to see what the crew at RDB LA do to this badass F-550, especially since it lives only a half-hour away from us. Just another day in LA.
