Not everyone is a fan of the Crew Cab — or, for that matter, of dually trucks. Even so, these trucks are a unique and welcomed sight by many, and they seem to be a dying breed.

Many people have been seeking out trucks that get better miles per gallon and are more for a commute than for hauling and pulling, so these signature machines decrease in number more and more every year.

So Ford truck enthusiast BBslider001 (A.K.A. Byron) certainly did the world of Ford trucks a real favor back in 2013 by buying this magnificent 1997 F-350 Crew Cab Dually and adding it to his garage!

These trucks have always been interesting. They have immense power and yet enough space for a family to crowd in quite comfortably. Not to mention that they look quite tough when they cruise down the road; maybe it has something to do with there absolutely giant size.

Either way, this rig is a wonderful example of what it means to own a Ford, and Byron is quite proud of it. The F-350 has a 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel engine and an E4OD transmission under the hood, and we’re sure it sounds like a monster when he turns it over!

It also has a straight four inch stainless exhaust, bellowed up pipes by Re-Billd, an Edge Insight CTS, a TS performance chip, and more. When it comes down to it, Byron has taken amazing care of the machine and has given quite a amazing upgrades.

But even when it was stock this truck was a wonderful masterpiece monsterpiece, so it’s always great to see it come into the care of an enthusiast who is so clearly preserving it and giving it all of the attention it deserves!

This beast is definitely loud, tough, and mean. We’re sure it’s an absolute joy to drive on the road, Go drop by Byron’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a good time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week!
