Custom 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor Raises $250,000 for Troops
A Stars and Stripes 2014 Ford F-150 Raptor sold at auction for $250,000 recently for the MobilityWorks Foundation‘s Cars for Troops program. The auction proceeds will be used to help veterans with their wheelchair accessible transportation needs.
The red, white and blue Raptor was customized by West Coast Customs, L&M Wheel & Tire and BraunAbility. It was spotted in Las Vegas at this year’s SEMA show to help promote Cars for Troops.
The Cars for Troops vehicle donation program was created to “make the world more accessible for physically-challenged veterans and their families.”
According to the foundation, 50 percent of veterans looking to purchase adaptive transportation lack financial assistance.
Veterans and supporters looking for more information about the program can visit the Cars for Troops site here.
