Enjoy This Stunning Ford Model AA Truck Walkaround (Video)

Before “Built Ford Tough” became a slogan idea, Ford was  already building trucks as tough as they could be.

It’s important to stay humble and remember where you came from. While Ford Trucks have been America’s bestseller for decades, there was a time when their rugged reputation for quality and durability was not yet well-established.

The Ford Model AA was an upgraded version of the Model A truck, with a beefier frame and suspension, larger wheels, and a transmission with high and low gears for heavier-duty work.

Today we’re taking a video tour of a 1929 Ford Model AA truck. This beauty is being sold by GR Auto Gallery, a dealership specializing in unique and vintage cars. You can find everything there from classic muscle cars to air-cooled Porsches, and even neat stuff like this classic pickup.

This 1929 Model AA truck has been carefully restored, and looks ready for a hard day of work on a farm or just cruising around. When the previous owner purchased it at an estate sale, the truck was disassembled and all of its parts were in boxes! Over the last decade, it has been carefully and painstakingly repaired to its current condition. After a lifetime of hard work, the truck now has a quiet and cozy retirement of sorts.

We at Ford Truck Enthusiasts are smitten with the steely blue paint, red-orange wheels, and freshly varnished wooden bed. It hearkens back to a bygone era and is a delightful slice of four-wheeled Americana.
