Ford’s U.S. off-road Ranger lineup might not just consist of a Raptor and FX4, after all!

Spy photos catch a wider, faster, and severely beefed-up Ford Ranger roaming the Australian Outback.

GM might have the only domestic midsize trucks on the market right now, but it doesn’t presently offer anything like the 1991 Ford SkyRanger convertible pickup you see here.

The 1988 Ford Ranger GT you see in the video here packs a V8 attached to a massive, 94-millimeter turbo. That combination is set up to pump out around 1,600 horsepower, but it can be dialed in to produce as much as 2,000.
