Restored 1939 Ford F-350 Flatbed Needs a New Life
“Own this truck and you’re set for life.” It’s a bold statement, but you gotta respect the confidence in this Craigslist listing for a restored 1939 Ford F-350 Flatbed.
There’s a lot going on with this truck, and it wasn’t restored by only one person. According to the listing, the person who has it now is the fourth owner and the third person to continue the restoration.
The donor truck for the project was a 1991 Ford F-350 dually with a V8 460 mated to an AOD 4-speed automatic with overdrive, and the lister notes that the body-off-frame was done from the ground up with all steel. The rebuilt motor has a total of 43,608 miles on it.
He says everything is new, including but not limited to the Omega gauges, wires, interior upholstery and carpeting, the door panels, custom mahogany flatbed, twin I-beam front suspension, power steering and brakes, dual Flowmaster exhaust, and K&N air intake.
The only cons listed are the need to be a social person because of how much attention it gets and the need for a new electric wiper motor. Paint is in 9/10 condition.
Unfortunately, puppy not included. Talk about false advertising.
