FTE Build

When it comes to working on trucks, one maybe do it as a necessity of a pastime. Others, in fact, do it as a living. FTE member ridealong34 has done several builds in the past, including show-car restorations on a 1957 Bel Air and a 1967 Chevelle SS. Of course, his most recent undertaking is certainly not a bowtie, and we’re looking forward to the outcome!

Ridealong34 purchased a 1965 F-100 from a local couple awhile ago. Before the couple owned it, the rig was in the position of a single owner from 1969 until 2007, which, as many of your are aware, is a stunning and very promising sign. Though his short term goals are to simply get the ride to be and clean driver, but he seems to have high hopes after that as well!

So far ridealong34 has done a lot of things, from cleaning the gas tank to purchasing a truck to take parts from. His most recent endeavor is to pull he 240 cubic inch motor from the Ford truck and throw in a 302 instead, complete with a three speed transmission!

So what are you waiting for? Go stop by ridealong34’s build thread and show your support!
