BUILDUP A Big and Tall 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty Project

FTE Build

Though most builds that people take on tend to be on older trucks, this is not always the case. Usually it’s the older Ford rigs that need more attention after sitting in a barn for a decade or being tricked out by some amateur at some point in their lives, but that doesn’t mean that some more recent rides don’t deserve a second chance.

After all, they are the classics of the future! FTE member Micah (A.K.A. “im2tall33”) has taken on a 2008 F-250 Super Duty as his most recent build, and we’re very excited to see where it goes!

When he bought the ride, Micah knew that it had a cam phasers problem. He has decided to simply drop in a new engine (also a 5.4L) with a 100k mile warranty rather than fixing the old engine, which isn’t a bad choice.

He has ordered a Truxedo tonneau cover, running boards, Linex rocker panels, a Livewire 5star tuner, a Flowmaster exhaust, and more to make this ride all it can be!

Another amazing point to make about this F-250, is how high it is! At 6’7”, Micah has to hop into this beast! Go check out his build thread and show your support!
