A Red 1997 Ford F-250 Build
As I’m sure we all do, I certainly remember my first vehicle quite clearly. Oftentimes it takes a lot of work to finally be able to purchase the ride, whether it be a truck or a car. It can be an uphill battle at a young age, but nothing is more exciting than hopping behind the wheel of your own rig, turning the key, and heading out into the world.
While I’m sure we’ve all had different experiences with our first vehicle, there’s likely come a point where you either wanted to work on the ride to improve upon it, or were forced to repair something on the rig. After all, sometimes things need to be replaced, right? We have to admire FTE member Brandom (A.K.A. “fordlover801“), who recently picked up his first truck — a 1997 Ford F-250 — with the intent to build it up himself.
So far, Brandon’s endeavor is going well. He has purchased a Dana 60 with a matching rear with 4.10 gears. He has also ordered his new tires, taken the box and the bumpers off, and is well on his way to getting to work on this rig! It will be a winter project that he will be doing in his father’s garage, and we’re very excited to see how it turns out!
