BUILDUP A 1987 Ford F-150 Project in Michigan

FTE Build

Building up a Ford truck is a very rewarding thing. Not only is it worthwhile to breathe some life into an old beast, but it is also enjoyable and well worth it! That’s not to say that it doesn’t take some time, skill, and an abundance of patience! FTE member Fird12 has taken on building a 1987 Ford F-150, and we’re currently quite excited to see where it goes!

The current modifications present on the ride include a 4″ Skyjacker lift, a 3″ body lift, 33″ rollers, a built 302 cubic inch motor, and more. The ride has minimal rust for a Michigan truck, which is also a very good sign! As for what Fird12 plans to do with the ride, he hopes to add new tires, a 50″ light bar above the windshield, fix the windshield wipers, and more. So far he has fixed a coolant leak on the ride, and is now moving toward the more exciting modifications and repairs!

The ride seems to be in great hands, and we’re glad to see it. We can’t wait to see where this goes! Go check out Fird12’s build thread and show your support!
