2012 Ford “Big Red Beast” F-150 Build

FTE Build

Sometimes it can be hard to get over a ride that we’ve loved and lost, regardless of whether or not that loss was intentional or unexpected. After all, rides grow on us over time, and losing them can be a pretty heartbreaking blow.

They served us well, and when we move to something new… well, it feels a little bit wrong. Of course, that doesn’t mean that it really is. In fact, taking on a new vehicle can often be a good thing. And while we always hope that the old ride ends up in good hands, it’s worthwhile to make a change from time to time.

And FTE member Pgh Rebel recently decided to make that change himself. Awhile back he had a 2006 Ford F-150, but, despite how great it was, he decided it was time to move on. Thus, a couple of months ago he picked up a 2012 Ford F-150 with a regular cab and a long bed. The bright red color looks great, and so far it’s been good to him. Of course, what else would one expect from a Ford truck?

Despite how much he liked the truck, Pgh Rebel has decided to do a few things to make his ride better. To start, he added some chrome step bars and a tri-fold bed cover. There is definitely more to come, and the build is coming along quite nicely.
