BUILDUP! A 1992 Ford F-150 4×4 Build
Sometimes it’s just been too long. The rig is old and crumbling apart despite your best efforts. It needs real attention, and band-aid repairs won’t work anymore. It’s on its last legs an you know it. It’s time to make a decision.
You have two choices remaining: Either run it until it dies, or tear it down and build it back up. While both options are understandable in different situations, we absolutely love to see people take on the challenge of bringing their rig back to life. And that’s what we get to see today.
FTE member whitey33 has recently taken on a build of his own, and it was out of necessity. He has owned his 1992 Ford F-150 4×4 for four years now, and it has been an absolutely amazing commuter vehicle. He has enjoyed every moment with the ride, which also happens to be his first full-size pickup and also his first Ford. Unfortunately, the rig has been on its last legs for a little while now. Thankfully, it seems to have made a wonderful impression, and whitey33 has decided to save it.
He recently began the tearing down process of the F-150 4×4, and has already acquired a new engine. Along the way he is also planning to add some upgrades, because why not?
