Not a whole lot is certain in life, but if there’s one thing we know for sure; is that everybody loves a late ’70s Bronco. Nice examples are bringing big bucks these days, especially ones that are in good original condition. If you can find one of them for under $20 grand, you’re in luck.

That makes the $16,900 sale price of this black 1978 Ford Bronco pretty darn fair. It isn’t perfect by any means, but it is a nice and unrestored example that has been taken care of over the years. Plus, there’s only 80,000 miles on the odometer. What more could you want?

The lack of rust is due to California’s dry climate, where this truck has lived its entire life. The black paint still looks pretty good, but obviously has a few scratches and chips. Large aftermarket wheels and tires have been added, but all the factory chrome and stainless is intact and in good shape.

The black interior has been redone, but the dash is in great original condition without any signs of cracks. The 351 Windsor is mechancially sound and pretty clean, with some chrome dress up bits as eye candy. A new exhaust has also been fitted for fanfare.

For those who love the second generation of the iconic SUV (that would be all of you), you can’t help but love this black on black 1978 Ford Bronco. It has lived a good life and is ready to be driven some more, or even fixed up a little bit. Either way, just keeping this classic on the road is doing a service to Ford truck fans everywhere!
