This Big Blue 1979 Ford Bronco is Waiting For You!
Who doesn’t, in their right mind, love a 1979 Ford Bronco? The answer is obviously no one, because they are really expensive these days. For many of us, the short-lived second-generation of Ford’s big bodied SUV is the best. Whether that be because it represents a better time in our lives, or maybe just because they are awesome trucks – plain and simple.
This big and blue 1979 Bronco is certainly awesome by anyone’s standards. The blue paint and body aren’t perfect with a few scratches and bubbles, but they’re good enough. The main thing is that there’s no rust or rot, and it reportedly runs like a top. With only 33,000 miles on the 351 block, that’s not exactly a surprise.
The engine has been beefed-up a little with an Edelbrock carb and intake, and it breathes easier courtesy of headers and a dual exhaust. Mechanically, the truck has been gone through quite extensively, with a recent brake and hub service, as well as a new steering box and radiator.
The interior has received a set of Corbeau racing seats to keep you planted, as those beefy (and also brand new) BF Goodrich tires can roll over various obstacles. Overall, this blue Bronco presents a nice package that you wouldn’t be afraid to drive anywhere. And for that, you might just get a bit of a discount, as bidding is currently sitting at a reasonable price.
