BFGoodrich Presents BUILDUP A 1967 F-100 Build
Ford has been making trucks an awfully long time, and we’re thankful for that. There is a great multitude of different classic Fords to love, and, while they are all somewhat different, they all have stayed true to their roots.
Baddog671, in his appreciation for the classic rigs, has taken on a 1967 F-100 build. Though not a whole lot is known about its past, it definitely needs some help.
The rig sports a 4.9 I6 engine and a three speed manual transmission. It has been lowered by the previous owner and, luckily, doesn’t have much rust at all. Baddog671 is currently working at rebuilding the carburetor and solving a few other problems as well.
In addition to the spark plugs being in bad shape, Baddog671 plans to rework the suspension after getting the engine running reliably. He is also considering a disc brake conversion, but that is farther in the future than his immediate pursuits!
Though this build is just starting out, it is definitely worth following. After all, who doesn’t enjoy a glorious 1960s F-100 being brought back to life? Go check out Baddog671’s build thread and show your support!
