Beechmont Ford Rolls Out Retro Ford F-150 for Nostalgists
Ohio-based dealer introduces its new retro Ford F-150 that combines modern performance with vintage style.
Beechmont Ford in Cincinnati, Ohio has been cranking out cool retro-styled F-150 models for years now. Thus, it seemed inevitable that the dealer would continue applying this tried and true formula with a new retro 2021 Ford F-150 offering, and now, it has. The all-new, 14th generation pickup, like its predecessor, is a natural fit for the popular makeover, and now buyers can order one just like this.
Beechmont gives the new F-150 a total makeover with a custom satin pearl wrap down the center, which effectively turns the new truck into an old-fashioned two-tone Ford. From there, they add a 3.5-inch suspension lift, 17-inch polished wheels, 35-inch all-terrain tires, a chrome bed rack with KC lighting, and a Roush cat-back exhaust. On top of that, Beechmont says it can add “whatever your heart desires” to the package.
For an extra touch of old school, Beechmont recommends that buyers start out with an XLT or Lariat model equipped with Ford’s optional Chrome Package, but they’re also willing to build a retro 2021 Ford F-150 with any trim level a buyer chooses. Simply spec out your ride, agree to a price, and place a $500 deposit, and you’re ready to go. Then, the hardest part is just waiting for your retro pickup to arrive.
Problem is, with the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage hitting Ford hard, that’s going to be a while, currently. Beechmont says that if you order one of these trucks today, it will likely take up to 6-7 months before you can actually take delivery. This is a fluid situation, however, so that can very likely change. With any luck, this supply chain nightmare will be over in the next few months.
Regardless, we certainly feel like these cool retro F-150s are worth the wait. With millions of F-Series pickups on the road, it’s a great way to truly stand out and show off your enthusiast side. And honestly, we miss the old modestly-sized wheel, two-tone, chrome-laden trucks that used to fill up dealer lots, anyway.
