Badass Truck Enthusiast Drives a Badass, Bagged F-100
Whether you love lowriders or hate them, there’s no denying Instagrammer Kim Miller’s passion for her F-100.
Lowriders ruled the custom truck scene for many years before falling out of favor. But today, air bags have made dropping old trucks to the ground a more reasonable and realistic mod. When you want to show off, simply flip a switch. Do the same again, and you’re on your way. Without the fear of losing things like your exhaust or suspension in the process. The low life certainly still has its fans, including the owner of this bagged F-100, Kim Miller.
From what we can gather from her Instagram account, Miller acquired her bullnose F-100 several years ago from her grandfather. She’s been smitten by the lowrider bug even longer, so her plans for the Ford were quite obvious from the start. And as you scroll through her many pictures, you can watch her truck transform into the ground scraping beast that it is today.
The bulk of the work, of course, happened underneath the truck. The suspension is quite trick, and coupled with a little inner fenderwell work, now allows the F-100 to sit on the ground. Literally. We’re also digging her wheel choice, a set of classic painted 22s. Much of the trim has also been removed, and brown primer applied in place of the original brown/white two-tone treatment.
Whether you love lowriding trucks or hate them (and we know many of you fall in the latter category), you can’t deny Miller’s passion. She absolutely loves her F-100, and she’s clearly smitten with how it’s turned out. For that, we have to give her props for being a true Ford enthusiast. After all, how many young folks these days want anything to do with “grandpa’s old truck?”
