Aussie 1956 F-100 Receives Beastly Coyote Transplant
The OP eventually figured out a workaround, which involved using a steering pump off a Holden. So on goes the Edelbrock supercharger, which looks pretty darn awesome.
Before long, the engine is complete and teardown can begin. The front end and brake kit arrive shortly thereafter. But then the OP and his builder understandably begin to have some second thoughts about the chassis design for this high horsepower beast.
“The engineer and builder that I’m using all agreed that we build a new chassis just because of the amount of power that this motor is going to make. Which I have to agree would be the best way to go. A week ago the engineer phoned up the builder and put a hold on it. Anyway, I have ordered all new parts from the U.S. and they are all sitting in a depot waiting to be shipped over here.”
As of right now, that’s where this intriguing F-100 project sits. But you can bet we’ll be following along, and so should you! Head on over here for the latest updates as this unique build comes together!
