You ever show up to work and think, Ugh, what a crappy place? I think it’s safe to say at least some Ford employees back in the early part of the 20th century thought that when they showed up for duty (doody?) at a Blue Oval factory. Why? The Blue Oval powered its production facilities with manure until 1939, that’s why.

Two decades later, the Peanuts gang made its animated debut in – of all things – a Ford commercial:

The first monster truck came on the scene in 1979 – and it was a Ford. You might have heard of it. It’s called Big Foot.
