2019 Ford Ranger Pricing and Options Officially Unveiled
After a leak proved a bit premature, you can finally access the 2019 Ford Ranger build & price site.
For months, we’ve been waiting anxiously while details regarding the 2019 Ford Ranger slowly trickle out. One of the hotter topics in the Ford Truck Enthusiasts forums relates to price. And how adorning the new Ranger with various options affects that price.
Ranger fever reached such a fervent pitch that some folks figured out a back way into what looked like the truck’s build and price site. It turned out to be all for naught, however, as Ford quickly informed us that this information wasn’t accurate. Which left egg on the face of multiple media outlets.
Thankfully, they followed up that Debbie Downer by launching the official 2019 Ford Ranger site with the actual pricing. And those numbers aren’t that far off what we saw from the initial leak. But we now know that there were some inaccuracies, namely the existence of a regular car Ranger.
The base 2019 Ford Ranger is, as expected, the XL SuperCab. Which starts out at $24,300, or $25,395 delivered. Well, unless you opt to get one without a bed, which will save you a mere $300. Stepping up to an XLT will cost you at least $27,940, while the Lariat starts at $32,210. Opting for the SuperCrew cab and 5′ box adds a little more than $2,000 to the price of each trim level. Likewise, going from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive will set you back roughly $4,000 for each trim level.
