2018 F-150 Becomes Custom Car Shop’s First Truck Project (Video)

By -

As the popularity of trucks continues to soar, more and more shops are getting in on the customization scene.

The truck customization market has arguably never been hotter. The insane popularity of trucks like the 2018 Ford F-150, an explosion of interest in the off-road hobby, and a seemingly endless supply of incredible (and easy to install) custom parts are among the driving forces behind this trend. It’s enough to force even traditional car customization shops like Premium Auto Styling to switch up their offerings. And this newly purchased 2018 Ford F-150 is the first example of their work in the truck market.

The truck’s owner, Daniel, admits that he wasn’t necessarily a fan at first. But after taking a short spin in his new ride, he quickly fell in love. Still, any new truck can benefit from a few mods, and this 2018 Ford F-150 is no exception. A lift kit and some wheels and tires were installed before the camera even turned on. But the next step was installing some tint, a nice touch on an all-black truck.

Future mods include an aftermarket exhaust, vinyl overlays, and the removal of some chrome. Which makes sense, of course, given the already dark nature of the truck. Not a bad start for a company new to the truck customization industry, we must say. And their next potential project is a new Raptor, which could be even better!

Whether you’re a fan of the treatment this F-150 received or not, it’s nice to see more and more shops getting into trucks. After all, the more choices (and competition) we have in the marketplace, the better off we are as truck owners. And that, friends, in a win-win for everyone in the industry!
