2017 Ford Raptor vs. 2016 Shelby F-150 (Video)
As is unfortunately common with non-car-guy YouTubers, Yuri makes a bit of a mistake when complaining about “lag” that Jakub has to correct. Yuri mashes the gas, the Shelby downshifts and takes off. He complains that it has “lag” when it’s really just downshifting. Once Jakub coaches him through it he narrates, “it’s in second gear… I put my foot down… Whoa! There’s no lag!”
Which truck is best? Though rather subjective, Jakub notes, “if you were a child and you grew up and had all this money and piles of cash, you would design the Shelby.” We’d probably rock the Raptor every day too, but we’re not saying we’d turn down a Shelby F-150. Yuri sums up what we were thinking throughout the video, “I want Shelby to Shelby a Raptor.”
