Ford Motor Company still hasn’t rolled out all of the vital details on the 2017 Ford Super Duty, but the next generation F-250 looked fantastic in Platinum trim under the bright lights of the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

This stunning black and silver beast was tucked in the back corner, offering show-goers a chance to meet the new aluminum bodied 2017 F-250 Platinum in person. This super-premium ¾ ton pickup will likely serve as the top of the Super Duty lineup (at least at launch), combining a loaded interior with an exterior design that is obviously high-end – but not to the point where it would look odd on the work site.

This 2017 Ford F-250 Platinum is a “Boss truck” and I’m sure that when it goes on sale later this year, bosses around the country are going to be quick to accept the new Super Duty – aluminum body and all.

While the front end has been hit with some criticism, the big, bold face has proven to be popular with Super Duty buyers in past years and I find this look to be a great evolution of the trucks being sold today.
