Tire Smokin’ Thursday: 2017 Ford F-250 Monster Burnout
This week’s Tire Smokin’ Thursday video features a brand new 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty, doing a burnout not long after leaving the dealership. Because if that’s not your idea of breakin’ in the truck, then you’re doing it wrong. (Just kidding, that’s not a good way of breaking-in your truck.)
Details are limited, but we know that when this F-250 burnout took place, the truck only had 60 miles on the odometer, which leads us to believe that the driver obviously hadn’t been driving this shiny new Super Duty for long. Also, this bad boy of a truck appears to be wearing the wheels of the high-end Platinum trim, so break-in period be damned – this guy knows how to show off with his new $70+ grand Ford truck!
This video courtesy of Mike Dillehay, shows the 2017 Ford F-250 struggling to get the tires spinning, but after a few seconds the RPM rise and the tires get hot. From that moment on, the 6.7L PowerStroke diesel engine put on a serious smokin’.
Call me crazy, but I think this F-250 monster burnout might be the best cloud of smoke I’ve seen from the new Ford Super Duty… yet.
