2016 NAIAS: Build Your Own Ford Mustang and F-150 Raptor – in LEGO Form

By -

The 2016 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit is a chance for automakers to show off their new models, their future models, and those that, if the reception of them is positive enough, could be new one day. Ford is using the event to introduce another form of the Mustang and the 2017 F-150 Raptor: LEGO.

The $14.99 Mustang set will include 185 pieces than can be assembled into the car, its race driver, and a time board. The parts count goes up to 664 for the $49.99 Raptor kit; those add up to not only the truck, but a garage, Model A hot rod with its own trailer, drag racing light tree, and a crew of Blue Oval wrench-turners.

Both sets will be available for purchase at LEGO stores and Toys ’R US locations across the country starting March 1.
