1995 Ford F-350 Packs Unbeatable 7.3 Power Stroke, Manual Combination
As one of the last “simple” diesel trucks built, this 1995 Ford F-350 didn’t last long on the open market.
No matter what automotive brand, make, or model you’re thinking of buying, there are always some combinations that people prefer over others. That’s definitely true in the world of diesel Ford trucks, where certain engines and body styles are favored heavily. This 1995 Ford F-350 that was recently up for grabs at Diesel Deals certainly falls into the desirable category for a number of reasons.
For starters, it’s a ninth-gen pickup, which has its fair share of fans thanks to a clean and timeless design, as well as the fact that these were considered by many to be the last of the “simple” F-Series pickups. More importantly, this 1995 Ford F-350 is packing the Blue Oval’s 7.3-liter Power Stroke under the hood, which is one of the greatest diesel engines ever produced.
Reliable and powerful, the big Power Stroke is backed up by a five-speed manual transmission, which makes it even more desirable. The truck does have 189k miles on the clock, but that’s obviously not a concern with this drivetrain. Heck, it’s easily capable of at least doubling that number without a hitch, as we’ve seen many 7.3-powered pickups do.
As if all of this isn’t good enough, this F-350 is also one heck of a looker, too. The super-long SuperCrew is finished in a highly attractive blue hue and has been treated to clear headlights and cab lights. It also sits just right, thanks to a set of 16×10″ aluminum Pro Comp wheels wrapped with Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires measuring in at 315/75/16. Otherwise, it’s just a clean and honest 1995 Ford F-350, which is enough in its own regard.
Unsurprisingly, this ultra-clean F-350 sold rather quickly with an asking price just shy of $27k. But these trucks are gaining in value by the day as people try and scoop up some of the last simple diesel pickups ever built. There’s just something to be said about owning a reliable rig that just keeps on running, one that’s largely devoid of all the fancy electronics and smog equipment of today, and this truck is a shining example of that now-extinct breed.
